As the year comes to a close, BPM takes a moment to reflect on the music & players that defined 2024. While we shy away from ranking artists or songs, we believe it’s vital to celebrate the creativity & innovation that shaped the electronic music scene this year.
2024 was a stellar year for the global scene, with triumphant returns from big names and the rise of fresh talent. It was a year of confirmations and surprises—a testament to the ever-evolving landscape of electronic music. At BPM, our passion lies in discovery, and this year was no exception.
After bursting onto the global music scene in 2023 with his electrifying remix of Kelis’ “Milkshake,” backed by heavyweights like Diplo, Pete Tong, Blond:ish, and Keinemusik, Alex Wann quickly became a worldwide sensation and has to solidified his status as a powerhouse in electronic music.
2024 marked the French artist’s year of confirmation. With a bunch of dope remixes & original releases under his belt, each amassing millions of streams, Alex Wann' 2024 success can be found into his ability to captured the essence of Afro House' infectious rhythms while bringing another depth to his tracks & remixes.
