One month after announcing that it had purchased the rights to the documentary premiered a few months ago at the Tribeca Film Festival, Netflix has unveiled the trailer for Avicii - I’m Tim, a deeply personal documentary exploring the life and legacy of Tim Bergling, the global superstar known as Avicii.
Directed by Henrik Burman, the film offers an intimate portrait of the artist, featuring never-before-seen footage, exclusive interviews, and narration by Bergling himself. Premiering globally on December 31, Avicii - I’m Tim documentary chronicles Avicii’s meteoric rise to fame and the challenges he faced, culminating in his untimely death in 2018.
Avicii - I’m Tim includes contributions from music legends like David Guetta, Nile Rodgers, and Chris Martin of Coldplay, highlighting the profound impact of his work, promising to honor the life of a shy but extraordinary talent who forever changed electronic music.

"Through unique home movies and a huge private archive, we get to follow Tim on a winding journey through life - from the very first breath at the maternity ward in Stockholm in 1989 to the tragic end in Oman in 2018.
