Jack Revill was a beloved figure in the electronic music world, having made a significant impact both behind the decks and through his pioneering work at the Numbers label, which he co-founded. Born and raised in Glasgow, Jackmaster’s love for music began early, working at the renowned Rubadub record store from the age of 14. His career quickly took off as he landed a residency at the Monox club by the age of 17, setting the stage for his rise as one of the most respected DJs of his generation. A heartfelt statement from the family reads :

"It is with profound sorrow that we confirm the untimely passing of Jack Revill, known to many as Jackmaster. Jack tragically died following complications arising from an accidental head injury. His family – Kate, Sean, and Johnny – are utterly heartbroken. While deeply touched by the overwhelming support from friends, colleagues, and fans, the family kindly requests privacy as they navigate the immense grief of this devastating loss."

Earlier this year, Jackmaster had been on tour, performing at clubs and festivals across Europe, the UK, and North America. In September, he played a standout set at Hï Ibiza as part of Black Coffee and Damian Lazarus’ residency.
