Ultra Music Festival is set to make its 25th anniversary one to remember with an incredible lineup of underground talent, including an announcement for its renowned RESISTANCE brand. The festival, which will take place from March 28 to March 30, 2025, at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami, will showcase some of the biggest names in house and techno, with legendary DJ Carl Cox and many others taking over the RESISTANCE MegaStructure stage.
One of the most highly anticipated performances of the anniversary event is Carl Cox’s ‘Evolution’ live show. Cox will be hosting the world debut of this groundbreaking performance as part of his ‘Carl Cox Invites’ stage takeover. The stage will feature an impressive range of live house and techno sets, including performances by Drumcode’s Adam Beyer, techno pioneer Richie Hawtin with his ‘DEX EFX X0X’ show, and Dubfire’s visually captivating ‘EVOLV’ live show. Other notable acts include Stephan Bodzin, Joris Voorn, and Marc Romboy, who will make his Ultra debut. Cox himself will kick off the stage takeover with a special B2B set alongside Christopher Coe of his Awesome Soundwave label.
In another major highlight, Solomun will be bringing his Diynamic label to Ultra Music Festival for the first time, taking over the RESISTANCE MegaStructure. Diynamic’s debut at Ultra will feature Solomun in a solo headlining set, as well as first-time performances from acclaimed artists such as Four Tet, Mau P, Chloé Caillet, and Rafael Cerato. This addition to the lineup further solidifies Ultra’s commitment to showcasing top-tier underground talent.
The RESISTANCE stage will also feature an impressive range of international talent. Charlotte de Witte, who made her historic Main Stage debut at Ultra 2023, will return to the festival, alongside Boris Brejcha, Miss Monique, Eli Brown, ARTBAT, 999999999, and I Hate Models. In addition, new names have been added to the lineup, including Kevin de Vries, Korolova, Nic Fanciulli, Nico Moreno, and Patrick Topping. The stage will also host two high-energy B2B sets, with Massano and Chris Avantgarde making a return following their successful set at Ultra 2024, and Popof x Space 92 Present Turbulences bringing the heat after their North American debut at Ultra 2022.
The RESISTANCE lineup also includes up-and-coming acts such as Charlie Sparks, Joyhauser, Juliet Fox, Kasia, MAGA, Moritz Hofbauer, Nusha, and Olympe. Ultra’s 25th anniversary will also see the return of American techno pioneer Josh Wink, who performed at the very first Ultra in 1999.
The RESISTANCE experience at Ultra will be split across two stages: the immersive RESISTANCE MegaStructure, which offers a tech-driven environment perfect for heavyweight house and techno acts, and The Cove, which will offer stunning views of Biscayne Bay.
